Abstract
Arts education programs are often the first to be dissolved during a schools annual budget cut. I believe that arts education programs should be of the same importance as core subjects such as math or science. Art as an educational subject is very stimulating, especially music. Music education encourages creativity, improves social skills, trains cognitive functions of the brain. It would be a sad thought to deprive any child from discovering their love for the arts, I want to highlight the important of arts education programs in all schools across the country.
