Abstract
This curriculum project combines learning about the Holocaust with mathematics to produce a more engaging learning environment. The main focuses are cross-curricular teaching, real-world applications, and gamification. This curriculum project includes four linear equation lessons for the Algebra 1 classroom to provide a hands-on learning experience for ninth-grade students. The lessons include solving linear systems by graphing, substitution, and elimination. The keys for all student-ready materials are in the appendix.
