Abstract
This essay seeks to explore the philosophies of Machiavelli. After his theories have been laid out and expanded upon, the paper will focus on how two modern presidents have used Machiavelli's theories in order to be more successful politicians. After determining whether or not the Presidents really do embody Machiavelli's ideals, the paper will seek to elaborate on it's findings. Finally, the paper will conclude with the authors challenges and expectations while completing this paper, culminating in even more questions being raised.
