Abstract
Obesity is a major public health challenge linked to diet and physical activity. This project uses machine learning to predict obesity categories from survey data, including eating habits, water intake, exercise frequency, and transport mode. BMI was calculated from height and weight. After encoding and testing several models, Random Forest delivered the highest accuracy. The results highlight lifestyle patterns that strongly influence obesity, offering insights for prevention and public health strategies.
