Abstract
This paper is about the importance of the arts and arts and eduction in schools and how essential teaching artists are to a successful learning experience. Examples of successful application of the arts in education include: how teaching artists strategies can be applied to young students, students with mental health difficulties, students with disabilities, and how the arts can unify students at school. The paper emphasizes on the important and successful uses of the arts in education and the role teaching artists play during that process.
