Abstract
Arcadia centers around a young teen navigating their gender a sexual identity day to day within an extremely homophobic/transphobic environment. The young teen must learn how to navigate the challenges of being queer in the hood, while also not being queer in the hood. The teen just wants to be the average teen, but after awakening from a nightmare, it becomes painstakingly clear they will not.
