Abstract
This paper discusses the internal and external search for "juice" through repetition and translation of abstract language. Throughout senior project, my painting practice shifted and expanded into installations. I investigated time and attention to detail as it is negotiated in the studio and for the viewer. My work poses questions about art and how it can be used as a tool for resistance.
