Abstract
Less than two hours north of New York City there is a population that lives a more relaxed lifestyle. The hustle and bustle of the city has slowly forced those seeking a more relaxed way of life to migrate north. Years pass and politics change the landscape as taxes rise and tensions flare. Once a lush geographical location for economic and social advancement the Hudson Valley has become an area with a sparse population. A population spread thin by individual needs is a community, simply surviving and not thriving as a whole. It is in these population gaps that I found myself highlighting in my work.
