Abstract
Following the death of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter protests, artists have picked up their paintbrushes to convey a need for change. At times there are no words to express feelings within the Black community, but art is worth a thousand words. 4 Black creatives around the New York area have been heavily influenced by the Black Lives Matter movement and make it their mission to uplift and heal Black communities through their language of artistry.
