Abstract
Geometry is one of the first concepts that a child learns. At an early age itbecomes a game to put the circle in the round hole, the triangle in the triangular hole, andthe rectangle in the rectangular hole. Geometry in this form is called Euclidean geometryand the way most people understand shapes. It is taken as a fact that a triangle's interiorangles add up 180 degrees, but in truth many different axioms and theorems must be provedand are needed to prove that is the case not just for one triangle but for all possible trian-gles. This rational of proving can be extended to many geometric principles that unravel thereasoning behind why they have been understood as facts. Through researching and provingdifferent theorems of Euclidean geometry a new understanding emerges providing tools tomake it impossible to view plane geometry in the same way ever again.
