Abstract
For my final year of college at SUNY Purchase I decided to take the leap and travel 6,961 miles to South Korea for an adventure of a lifetime. While being fascinated with Korean culture I was also curious as to how my art would be affected while studying abroad. My art gravitated to my surroundings and experiences in this foreign country. For my final collection of work at Purchase College, I decided to separate my work into 5 categories. The first category is a K-pop album parody, the second is Korea in my fantasy, the third is Korean nightlife, the next is hardship abroad, and the last is a sketchbook to remember people and places.
