Abstract
Logline: An insecure black woman takes matters into her own hands by transforming into everything society desires, taking dark measures to ruin their perception of beauty forever.
Selkia's character is in a correctional facility, slowly discovering what she has done to end up in a place like this. Throughout the script, she tells her psychologist, Dr. Florence, the story of her self-hatred, and her battle of viewing herself as beautiful. After being rejected by her first boyfriend her self-esteem is tanked by a great amount, but once she is in college and ends a much more concrete relationship with her future boyfriend, Leo, Selkia gains a newfound anger. While using the prosthetics from her friend, Malia's, prop box from her theatre club, Selkia creates a whole new persona, in order to lure new boyfriends (moreso, victims) into her via attraction, in order to lead them on, as well as something much more sinister.
