Abstract
A deep dive into the rise in the oddities scene in Brooklyn and the role that women in particular play within it. It focuses on the Oddities Flea Market and the space that this event has created for individuals and their businesses to flourish. It highlights four women who make their livings by creating or curating oddities related pieces and the importance of the community they have created from selling their work at the flea market.
