Abstract
This poster examines how visual representations in 19th-century Cuba reflect distinct social roles and perceptions. Through the comparison of two cultural figures -- the Zacateca and the Vieja Curandera -- it explores the line between satire and respect, offering insights into the societal values and hierarchies of the period.
