Abstract
My project is about the collective experience of black men in America and what that life comes with. It explores and speaks about the racism and adversities we face as a community based on skin tone, hairstyles, garments, and much more. I speak about the loss of my mother due to September 11th and how my life has changed being intertwined with such a monumental moment to the place that oppresses my people.
