Abstract
As educators it can be difficult managing behaviors that are inappropriate behaviors in and out of our classroom. It can also be hard finding which strategy works best for which class. However, it is our job to create a safe and positive learning environment for each and every one of our students. We need to create a classroom behavior plan and have expectations for our students and they need to understand what is expected of them the first day they walk through that door. As teachers, we need to figure out the best way to help each student succeed. In order to do this, we may need to work together with other colleagues to create a plan for that particular student or students. There are a variety of different behavior plans and interventions that can be used in the classroom but we need to continue to keep it positive when we implement it.
