Abstract
My senior project is about the family values that are in the novel "Flowers in the Attic" by V.C. Andrews and how elements of the Gothic literature are incorporated into it. I explain what it means with the help of scholarly sources what constitutes as gothic in literature and I explain how "Flowers" is a gothic novel.
