Abstract
Inspired by the life of my grandfather's journey growing up impoverished in Peru to then one day becoming an immigrant in New York, "Ingles sin Barreras/English without Barriers" captures the essence of his and my family's life. Having shared a close bond with my grandfather, I am driven to immortalize and cherish each memory through his stories and poetry. Within its pages, readers will find eloquent verses in both English and Spanish, enhanced by vibrant halftone designs that echo the vibrancy of each narrative. This book is a story of family, resilience, and hope.
