Abstract
A study of the application of occupational therapy procedures used by the certified occupational therapy assistants to address the psychosocial factors and mental health of individuals, groups and populations.
In this course students develop clinical reasoning and intervention skills related to OT practice in the mental health system as well as psychosocial issues seen in other areas of practice. Students begin to apply their knowledge during Level I Fieldwork and classroom experiences.
