Abstract
By exploring the narratives of drug users, addicts, and people involved with the current “war on drugs” we can have a better understanding of the cause of drug addiction, and how it relates to individual psychology, and society at large. Furthermore, through these narratives we can understand better, how best to treat, and cure drug addiction. Addiction, is an international epidemic, and by looking at the policies other governments have used to prevent addiction, we are better equipped to treat our own people.
