Abstract
The aim of this project is the study of microbiome and its essential role for human development. One of the goals of this literature review is to compare and contrast different methodologies in which scientist can approach this study in order to create new treatments for several diseases that deal with the microbiome. Since the human microbiome is mostly unexplored, this review also has the goal of providing a better understanding of the importance of microbiome studies and how the microbiome contributes to diseases and affects immunity. In order to approach these ideas, results from different experiments are presented.
