Abstract
Surrounded by technology, it brings both positive and negative aspects. But learning ways in
which technology can support students is beneficial for improving the students' academic path.
This study focused on the ways in which technology is used to support learners in STEM
classrooms. Ten articles were collected as data for Artificial Intelligence and traditional
technologies in education. The findings demonstrated that teachers provided instant feedback,
students were engaged, and had both independent and collaborative learning environments.
Based on research, it is recommended that teachers have more experience with Artificial
Intelligence tools so that they can confidently support their students. Teachers mainly had
positive perceptions about Artificial Intelligence tools while the traditional tools were integrated
into the teachers' lessons. Due to limited research, it is recommended that future studies should
be conducted regarding implementation of Artificial Intelligence in classrooms with diverse
students.
