Abstract
As an artist and designer who has a dad who has a visual impairment I thoroughly questioned art and design's role in accessibly. Past experiences showed that people with visual impairments tend not to go to galleries, museums, or film screenings and if they do they need a guide. I wondered how we can bridge the gap and create experiences where people with visual impairements and people who are sighted can both engage in an artistic spaces.
