Abstract
A discussion of the uncanny in television and cinema. This paper explores Fargo (1996), Twin Peaks (1990), The Outsider (2020), and The Twilight Zone (1959), in regards to Freud's theory of the uncanny. This paper observes the relations and differences between these movies and shows, as well as other significant television "slow burners".
