Abstract
This course is the first semester of a one-year course for students with no knowledge of Spanish. Spanish 101 is designed to provide beginning students with a foundation in the Spanish language as well as an introduction to Hispanic culture and civilization. Students are encouraged to actively participate in all communicative activities since our goal is to develop oral/aural proficiency.
