Abstract
This project is about the contrasts and commonalities of the Athenian Agora in the fifth century B.C.E. and the Parisian Salon of the Enlightenment era in the eighteenth century. This will include an extensive dive into the sources which helped to assist in the formation of the project, as well as a description of both Athenian and Enlightenment culture.
