Abstract
The issue of art repatriation in Senegal has emerged as a serious conversation, this paper explores the multiple layers of art repatriation in Senegal, diving into the historical contexts, and the socio-cultural involvement. By examining articles and case studies, first-hand experiences, podcasts, etc, this study seeks to illuminate the challenges and solutions in the repatriation process. As a student, I was drawn to exploring the historical context surrounding art repatriation but for me it goes far deeper than that due to my experience traveling and working in Senegal.
