Abstract
Art School Confessionals is a comedic, slice-of-life comic series about what it's like to be an art student, something I know a lot about. Every character is a different classic art school student archetype. We follow our protagonist Peach (AKA: The Self Deprecator), a returning student now back at art school, where she meets Dani (AKA: The Overachiever), Jackson (AKA: The Tortured Soul), Salomé (AKA: The Encourager), Ian (AKA: The Philosophy Minor), and Frankie (AKA: The Transfer Student). The first 5 episodes introduce the first 5 characters, with Frankie being introduced later on. Art School Confessionals explores all the ups and downs of being an art student, all the different interactions you have, the choices you make, the struggles you face, and the highs you reach. The first 3 episodes were published on May 6th, 2022 on the app Webtoon, and it is still ongoing.
