Abstract
In today's fast-moving economy, relying only on historical sales data isn't enough for businesses to stay competitive. Markets shift quickly due to changing economic conditions, competitor pricing, and what people are talking about or searching for online. Without considering these real-time factors, businesses risk missing out on demand trends, setting the wrong prices, or misjudging revenue projections. This challenge motivated me to develop this sales analysis system for the capstone project. I am currently building a live, API-integrated sales analysis system that gives businesses up-to-date insights into what's really happening in the market right now. My tool pulls real-time data from different sources, including economic indicators like inflation and unemployment, competitor pricing, search trends, and social media sentiment. By combining this data, our system helps businesses not just look at the past -- but react to the present and plan for the future. What sets our project apart is that it goes beyond typical sales tracking. It helps businesses predict demand changes, create more effective marketing strategies, manage risks, and make smarter pricing decisions. The system constantly updates so that businesses can make decisions based on the most relevant information, not outdated numbers. Overall, our goal was to build something practical that businesses can actually use to grow and adapt in real time. This project shows how live data and smart integration can make a big difference in how businesses operate in a competitive market.
