Abstract
Abstract The goal of this study is to examine the effects of weight stigmas on obese people.  The research is working toward answering the question, “Does weight stigmatization contribute to declining health of obese people both mentally and physically?”  The ultimate purpose of this study is to analyze weight stigmas and social attitudes toward obese people, investigate where these biases occur, learn what the physical and mental effects on individuals are, and what can be done to change social attitudes toward obese people.
