Abstract
What would a better interactive map for Purchase College even look like? And what would it take to make one? In this project, I aim to reimagine the current interactive map by applying UI/UX design principles with a focus on wayfinding, the science of navigating and orienting oneself within the physical environment. It entails a literature review of contemporary materials, a research campaign, and consultation of campus clubs and organizations. This all culminates in the development of a web-based application with touch-based interaction.
