Abstract
A piece that profiles the experiences of three people with autism who hide or otherwise "mask" their autistic traits. These traits can sometimes be frowned upon by people, especially those who do not have autism. The article explores what masking truly is and also talk about the debate of masking, as it is a contentious topic within the autism community. Two researcherrs and an autism activist also weigh in.
