Abstract
Burne Allbrook is a successful general in the global Salicarian Empire. While being honored for his conquests, Allbrook disrespects the king, and is demoted to the governorship of the empire's most remote island territory; Aonarachd. After 15 years of isolation, Allbrook is visited by Gerrick Stroud, an admiral in his prime who claims to be the new de-facto governor of the island. Allbrook struggles between his desire to leave the island and his dedication to his rag-tag soldiers, all while fighting Stroud for power.
