Abstract
This essay discusses the changing function of film posters in the digital era, specifically how new technologies and cultural forces have reshaped old-school film promotion into rich, interactive experiences. From individual practice of design and professional reading, it reflects on the intersection of visual storytelling, augmented reality, meme culture, and user interaction. By recreating My Octopus Teacher, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Night of the Living Dead posters, the project reimagines the poster as a dynamic tool that not only promotes a film but enlarges its emotional and narrative identity. This book highlights the evolution of the poster from static image to experiential medium, arguing that the future of film marketing lies in designs that are not just looked at, but felt and shared.
