Abstract
Joe O'Malley, an Irishman struggling to pay the bills, living in 1946 Boston, Massachusetts, where three Italian families rule the city with an iron fist, specifically over the persecuted Irish, brawls in an underground fight club to help pay the rent and keep his family safe, but Vinny Alphonse, notorious Italian mafia boss struggling to maintain power due to the threats of other families, determines that he needs Joe O'Malley to secretly win the war for supremacy in Boston.
