Abstract
In this critical reflection, I trace my journey of self-discovery through the lens of my educational, professional, and creative experiences – deeply rooted in a heartfelt appreciation for community. From navigating the challenges of dental hygiene school to healing through yoga, mindfulness, and the arts, I reflect on how my growth has been shaped by the people, spaces, and shared moments that have held me. Community has not only been a source of strength but a constant reminder of why I create, teach, and serve. Through mentoring youth, collaborating with underserved groups, and holding space for collective healing, I've learned that transformation does not happen in isolation. I am deeply grateful for every connection that has inspired resilience, creativity, and purpose in me. This reflection is both a personal testimony and a tribute to the healing power of community. It is written with the hope of inspiring others to appreciate their own stories and the relationships that sustain them.
