Abstract
The composite beast takes the ideas of nature, biology and surrealism. To create a chimera named "acutus equus" meaning sharp clawed horse in Latin, as it explores its relationship to its habitat, development and life cycle by taking inspiration form medical prints and artists such as Lois Dodd, Albrecht Dürer and Inka Essenhigh.
