Abstract
Public buses and trains form the core of the New York City experience for most of the city's residents, but for those with disabilities this basic need becomes a stressful, demeaning challenge. Three disabled New Yorkers tell their stories, recounting their experiences, and attempts to change a system that wasn't made for them.
