Abstract
Janis Roth struggles with her missing father and feels that she was abandoned. Six years later and she now lives with her aunt and is reminded every day of what and who is gone. On a walk through the woods, she sees something otherworldly. She's too afraid to tell anyone but even when she does, no one believes her. Even her best friend thinks she's losing it. Janis wants to prove to people she's telling the truth and through the help of one person who believes her, she discovers the buried truth of this town.
