Abstract
In the second installment of a three-course sequence, students will begin to understand fundamental concepts of chemistry from a practical approach, focusing on practices appropriate for an entry-level position in the chemistry workforce including the appropriate paperwork and adherence to safety
protocols. The course is appropriate for students with little or no chemistry background who wish to gain
employment in the chemical or cannabis industries in the area. The class “Introduction to Industry Chemistry” is
suggested but not required.
