Abstract
Vogesella indigofera produces a distinct metallic blue pigment called indigoidine via the gene igiD. In this experiment, environmental effects like temperature and hydrogen peroxide were tested against Vogesella indigofera with and without igiD. Results indicated that indigoidine could be an antioxidant for reactive oxygen species (ROS).
