Subjected: The Altruist Humanizing and Understanding The World of the Mentally Ill

This student plans to explore the different ways people with mental illnesses form personal relationships, in relationship to a world that overwhelms and maltreats people with mental illnesses. Through examining plays that humanize those affected, and writing a similar piece of work that also works to show the effects of people being mistreated with mental illnesses, this student explores how different plays allow audiences to see different points of views and stresses the importance of seeing people with mental illnesses with kinder eyes.
