Abstract
Rae did not expect to return home so soon during her freshman year of college. But after a recurring migraine that nearly caused her to fail her classes, this nineteen-year-old finds herself back in her hometown on a leave of absence. She'd be excited to be back too if it wasn't for her ghosting her friends since graduation. Nervous about returning home to murky waters, Rae experiences a terrifying nightmare her first night back, and when she wakes up she sees none other than her childhood imaginary friend waiting for her. Confused with his return, Rae has to figure out how to get rid of him all while fixing her broken relationship with her friends. But when the nightmares become more frequent and horrific, can Rae keep herself and her friendships together? Or will she finally crack underneath all the pressure?
