Abstract
An overview of my life. From childhood, to my college years, and to the few stressful months that have led me today. A journey to self identity, from the perspective of an American Haitian Black woman living in the United States. This thesis is a true representation of the steps I took to not only find my character's true voice, but also to find myself within her.
