Abstract
I am someone who has always noticed the value of everyday life, no matter how normal or typical. In these daily routines, there are memorable and unique moments in every person's individual experience, and with art I want to show my specific version. My art is not life-changing, and I am well aware that the subjects I choose and the experiences I portray are ordinary, however this is the part I love the most. With this, I am aiming to create a bridge between my everyday life and the viewer's. The subjects of my work being recognizable in their style and appearance provide a connection between my work and a young audience. Throughout my lifetime my work has consistently centered itself around themes in my personal life and relationships as well as portraiture and figuration. However, recently I am fascinated by the inanimate parts of the everyday, how our specific living experiences affect what objects we consume and keep close to us.
