Abstract
For my senior project, I got the chance to play Ted's character in the musical "The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals" by Nick and Matt Lang. Ted is very much considered a bad person and morally corrupt, but the audience seems to enjoy his presence. What I talked about in my senior project is how people could enjoy a character like this even though they wouldn't like him if they met him in real life. My research showed that this is more common than one would expect.
