Abstract
LGBTQ+ youth often face hardships that their heterosexual and cisgender peers do not, making parental support crucial to their well-being. In this study, we adapted Waters and Waters's (2006) methodology to assess how these LGBTQ+ youth mentally represent parental support through their cognitive secure base scripts.
