Abstract
This senior project in Theatre and Performance consists of an actor's reflection on a production of Stop Kiss as well as a research paper. Surviving the Kiss details the process of becoming Sara, and discusses how Stop Kiss and Indecent both challenge and critique the violence of the "kill your gays" trope.
