Abstract
Video games have grown constantly in popularity since the 1980's. Starting with the Atari 2600 and on through the Nintendo Switch, the video game industry was projected to make $134.9 billion in 2018. This piece looks at the factors that cause video games to sell. Using global sales and 8 factors there will be an analysis on deciding what factors are more important when it comes to video game sales globally.
