Abstract
1942 Brooklyn. A plumber, Robert Romano, 47, and his employee Benedict Russo, 17, find themselves being shot at by the Police after robbing an apartment. Escaping, they find out Robert's daughter and Benedict's good friend Miriam, 16, had been shot in the crossfire and paralyzed. Benedict begins a romantic relationship with Miriam out of guilt, all while keeping his secret of involvement. That is until the Officer involved grows suspicious of Robert and Benedict's alibi.
